Established in 1990, Baseline Orthodontics & Oral Surgery has served the Claremont, CA community for over 30 years. The practice was originally founded by Dr. Douglas M. Brown and later continued by Dr. Melissa K. Lee, building a strong reputation for quality orthodontic care across the Inland Empire.

Today, that legacy continues with Drs. Lee, Miller and Kit, who combine decades of experience with up-to-date techniques to deliver thoughtful, patient-centered care never rushed, never one-size-fits-all.

  • Orthodontist

Dr. Howard Lee​

Originally from Chicago, Dr. Howard Lee graduated from the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. After practicing as a general dentist for several years, he completed his orthodontic residency at Loma Linda University. Dr. Lee has now been in private practice as an orthodontist in Southern California for over 15 years. As an orthodontist, Dr. Lee finds great fulfillment in getting to know his patients during their routine visits, and watching their smiles transform.
 
Outside of the office, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his family. Weekends are often filled with water polo tournaments and cheer competitions. Dr. Lee and his family also enjoy exploring the great outdoors together, from visiting national parks to spending time at local beaches.






  • Oral Surgeon

Dr. Meagan Miller

Dr. Meagan Miller earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and completed her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training through Loma Linda University Health. In addition to her work in private practice, Dr. Miller serves as Program Director for the Advanced Dental Education Program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University, where she is actively involved in training the next generation of oral and maxillofacial surgeons. She retains hospital privileges at multiple locations throughout the region, allowing her to care for patients in both office-based and hospital settings when appropriate. Her professional interests include oral surgery, dental implants, reconstructive surgery, anesthesia, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Outside of work, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with her husband, their three-year-old daughter, and their French bulldog. She enjoys exploring new dining experiences, and pursuing her love of wheel-thrown ceramics.

Dr. Miller is passionate about helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their care, and is proud to serve the local community with thoughtful, high-quality surgical care.

Dr. Kit Rungcharassaeng

Dr. Kitichai Rungcharassaeng (“Dr. Kit”) is trained in three dental specialties: Prosthodontics from Boston University, and both Implant Dentistry and Orthodontics from Loma Linda University. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and has published numerous articles within these fields.
 
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Kit enjoys attending live concerts and basketball games. He is a fan of the Golden State Warriors and enjoys performing artists such as Lady Gaga, Charlie Puth, and Shawn Mendes.
